Marigold: Red Gem

Annual Flower. Lovely dark orange-red small marigold flowers cover these compact plants. Great for containers or for planting in the garden. Plant several in a row to create the look of a flower “hedge”. Great for pollinators because of the single layer of petals and open center. Also attracts many species of beneficial insects. Edible flowers.   These were one of my favorites last year because of their persistence late into the fall and their exquisite feathery foliage.
