Gourd: Luffa

We have so many luffa plants growing!  Dual purpose! Pick young and steam/pan-fry, or let them mature and dry for additional use- like making Luffa sponges! A trellis is useful to keep Luffas straight. Mature Luffa sponges are about 7”. Vines can grow to 15 feet.

This plant requires extra time, effort and space to grow, so it is offered in the 1 plant per 4-inch pot size.
