The vegetables listed here prefer cooler growing conditions and will thrive in April and May- even through light frosts and cooler temperatures. Most leafy green veggies fall into this category. The plants listed here will be available for pick up and planting after April 15 (if outdoor conditions allow...) Nothing like harvesting your own lettuce and spinach in May after a long winter drought of fresh leafy greens!
All vegetable seedlings come in 4 packs with the exception of leeks, onions , shallots, and scallions which come in 4" pots (expect ~20 plants/pot for these).

Heads are typically harvested after florets have elongated and curds have started to separate”. We grew this at DHF in 2021 and LOVED it- its is the only cauli we are growing in 2022. |
